A frequency response graph shows which frequencies are too loud or too quiet compared to an ideal target response. Life EQ measures these differences and corrects them to deliver a more balanced listening experience.

How does it work?
It's so simple.

Measure the sound.

Play the built-in pink noise through the left speaker, right speaker or both. The real-time analyzer (RTA) shows what the microphone hears at your listening position.

Choose a target.

A house curve is the response you’re aiming for at the seat. Choose Studio flat, a gentle studio tilt, or one of the included bass-and-treble target profiles.

'Auto Match' checks background noise, measures the pink noise with the microphone and fits ten parametric bands toward the target.

Any microphone can be used for measurement, including your mac's inbuilt microphone. A measurement microphone is preferable and will provide more accurate results.

Auto Match operates from 80 Hz to 10 kHz and applies a shared stereo EQ. Included named target styles are simplified guides. Selecting a house curve alone does not apply correction.

The visualizer lights the EQ curve with colour driven by your Mac’s audio. Bass brings the glow forward, giving your listening space a subtle visual pulse.
